A race village is erected at the Richmond Country Club. Day 1 and Day 2 will start and finish at the Club for the MTB ride.

MTB Route Description:

Day 1

Day one finds the riders leaving the Richmond Country Club and heading onto plantation roads, allowing the field to start spreading out. Riders get to enjoy riding through some of Richmonds most beautiful cane and timber farms before descending steeply into the upper reaches of the Nkobeni Valley, a tributary of the mighty Umkomaas. On the descent the scenery changes from one of eucalyptus plantations to jeep track through paperbark Acacia. The descent continues all the way down to the Umkomaas river where riders cross the river and finish the last section of the ride traversing a beautiful citrus farm. Riders finish at St Josephines bridge on the banks of the beautiful Umkomaas river. Cattle trucks will then transport you and your bike back to Richmond Country Club.
